We baked it ourselves with LOVE

As you may or may not have noticed ... this weeks baking with LOVE is a bit different. Die drei roten rosen sind vereinigt!! Hani visited us in Vienna well me..and Steffi visited us in Vienna as we baked salty Muffins.
We made goat cheese and spring onion muffins and also italien pesto muffins! They were so tasty!
Since we didn't make photos of the ingredients for you. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

So now...go preheat the oven!! DO IT!

This is HANNAH!! with Steffi!

Our wonderfully fantastic tasty muffins in the oven!

goat cheese and spring onion muffins      &      Italien pesto-muffins

Use these ingredients to make enough dough for 12 muffins :

6 tbsp sunflower oil or 90g butter
                                                                                                              280g  flour
                                                                                                              3 teaspoonful baking soda
                                                                                                              pinch of salt and pepper
                                                                                                              2 Eggs

                                                                                                              250ml buttermilk

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and put aside. Now whisk the eggs, buttermilk and oil together. Add the the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir to everything together. This is the base of your muffins. NOW separate the dough into two equally big pieces!

For the: goat cheese muffins:  add a bunch of spring onions - in thin rings
150g goat cheese in small cubes the mixture and et voila! pour into your muffin mould.
For the: Italien pesto-muffin: add 6 tbsp pesto (we used red pesto)
and freshly grated Parmesan your mixture and et voila! you're pesto-muffins are ready to be poured into the moulds.

This recipe serves 12 muffins as it is here. If you only want to bake one kind of muffin just double the special ingredients required for the muffin of choice. We loved them!! And they go really well together!

My Current Obssion!

Ohh just quickly popping in to show you what I've been doing today instead of finishing my cape (which is what I should've been doing...but more on that in a later post)..I love Stylelikeyou...I love looking into other peoples closets it's fun..also a tad bit depressing since you see how well some people choose their clothes. How carefully they pick things out. How they take there time with buying things and just sort of buy what they love and not whats on sale in H&M for 3 € because you can't say no. So now I am changing my ways and trying to be more like those people! Well you'll be pleased to know that I haven't bought anything useless this month only 3 pairs of boots but what the hell. I thoroughly picked them out and they were schnäppchen aswell!

And look they even have DEVENDRA BANHART the love of my life...he just doesn't know it yet!

And a song! I love it! I'm off to pick up Hani from the airport!! Wearing my golden dress so she doesn't miss me! uhh I'm late!! Very excited! Au revoir!

Pancakes for "breakfast"

No... this is no I baked it with LOVE post..I accidently postet that yesterday..upps...I'm still on "holidays" so I kind of get my days confused. At least it was a weekend right? So we just had breakfast and yes it's more like lunch since it's well past 12 but who cares! I didn't just wake up I was helping Bernd (the guy on the far right) with a marketing essay about China so we didn't get to breakfast.
I didn't clean the table on purpose to give you a peak of what a three-men-household looks like around here...At least I feel pretty in my wonderfully golden Outfit!

You have NO idea how much I love these tights! And in combination with these shoes... I'm just so overwhelmed with all the happiness in my heart! (yeah I just said that) I thought I head lost them forever and ever and then I just looked into my roommates undie drawer...and there they where all alone and golden! I'm so excited!

I'm sure all you guys know how to make pancakes but this is what I use. Sometimes I make it without the egg and with bananas or something. My roommate and I lived sort of vegan for a while as our fridge wasn't working so we improvised ( I also have a great vegan banana bread recipe ahhh!).
I don't have a recipe really...I just a bit flour and milk in a bowl, add the egg and melted bitter and then comes the bag of vanilla and baking powder...then you mix it together an et voila! fluffy pancakes!!

Especially tasty with homemade marmalade from matthias' roommates mom.

Matthias and Bernd are leaving me today and going back home (matthias is my boyfriend and he will be coming back on Wednesday since he moved here a couple of months ago to live near me) but Hani!!  one of my best friends and my soulmate is coming on Monday so we are going to wear lots of glittery clothes and have a hell of a time!! I'm excited!

This is me saying HI! Soo hi there my's me Steffi.
These photos are from a photoshoot for's not going to be published or was just a test shoot. But  this is basically me, in my room, in my german outfit (it was my outfit for public viewing when Germany was playing), and you can also see my timer. I'm a big timer girl. Always doodling around and keeping all my memories together! Ohh and I do loves me cookies.

One more little thing that I obsess with are Lomo cameras! It's terrible! I have I don't know how many...but a lot! and sometimes I just can't decide which one to take out with I have this huge lomo bag where a lot of them fit in and then they all go. But I'm in love with them so it's ok I guess. And if something makes you happy, why not obsess a little and go over the top right??

Oh and this is me wearing all American Apparel...I kind of work there's a lot more where that came from. Everything except the dotty top..that's actually a playsuit and wonderful and also forever 21.

Hello Sunshine!

Last weekend my boyfriends parents had this big get-together where all of his siblings and there partners came, some with kids. It was really great. His mom is just so adorable. Notice how she matched all those beautiful cushions with the towels on the chairs? Well thats her...she left us ice-cream money on the table and everything was perfect. There were candles and flowers and matching towels everywhere. I loved it. Plus they have a pool in there backyard and it was a hot sunny day..what more can you ask for, right? I do hope though that it's not one of the last hot days this year. Summer was way to short to be over now.

This is me testing the water then loving it and geting ready to jump in!
Oh summer how I love you

the blouse is AA, the top Weekday and the bottom is H&M

I lOVE Schnäppchen!!

So this outfit is one that combines everything I love . I love it when I put something on and everything ads up to like ... I don't know.. 20 euro...I love that!!! And it's also really comfortable.
So this one cost  a tad bit more but only because of the scarf which is from AA. Everything else is  thrifted except the tights and the clutch..those are from Accessorize but I got them on sale for i think about 3 euros each. These are soo definitely my favourite tights they spell LOVE fabulous!! The dress is COS (3 €) the coat (2,50€) and the boots (2€). That just makes me so happy. It's kind of a hobby. Even my couch cost 10€ on ebay and she's (it's a girl) so pretty and green.
I'm going to be posting some tipps on how find great stuff really cheap. You just have to have a list of what you want and then be patient. I think it's fun browsing ebay and etsy and searching through thrift stores for the perfect item. For instance i've been searching for the perfect red cowboy boots for probably about 4 years and I'll keep on waiting till the perfect pair pops up. Until then I'll just enjoy my 3 other pairs that I've stumbled upon while on the hunt (that's sort of the buy a lot more than you usually would) but it's all a schnäppchen so it's only reasonable, right??

So anyway look just how awkward I look in these photos! The first one shows me trying to pull a straight face.. real fierce right? NO!! And then I just sort of gave up and went with it.

<3 Andrea

So here I was at Sneakerness, some kind of..I don't know sneaker exhibition thing where lots of urban/ sneaker stores had little stands with their most special shoes i guess. Well weird since I'm no sneaker fan and probably the only person there without sneakers on. It was still nice though. Just the atmosphere was great. And it was an excuse to get out of the house after cleaning the kitchen all day.

ohh people and the toms are on sale right now over at get em!!!

So this is kind of a peak at what I wore that day. My boyfriend just couldn't get it right so this is it. But I do love these shoes. I really really do!! Aren't they just beautiful and really the most comfy thing you can probably have on your feet that still look good.

This picture is kind of to dark but it shoes my most favourite clothing rack there (and probably the only one). It was a little pop-up store with mostly clothing in pastel tones and knit. Very beautiful. I did get the business card but don't know where it is right now. I will definitely hook you up. Just some phone snapshots to keep you up to date on our whereabouts.

We baked it ourselves with LOVE

Do you know the feeling when you just need to bake something? Well that's a feeling that we just know all to well here at "Stylemingle Headquarters". So we are going to be posting our lovely baking adventures here ever Sunday. SUNDAY is FUNDAY!!
To start of our feature we decided to spread our LOVE to all you littles ladies (and gents) with our recipe for Red Velvet Hearts! They're really look amazing and taste amazing aswell!

So obviously you start by preheating the oven and buttering your hearts (or just any normal muffinthingy). What we like to do after that is prepare all the ingridients needed so you can just enjoy mixing everything together. This is what we call prepared people!

First of all: In a mixing bowl sift together the flour, salt and cacoa powder. Set aside.

With a hand mixer, beat the butter until soft (about 1-2 minutes). Add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Add the eggs. Add vanilla extract and beat until combined. (look how gracefully I pour butter into the bowl!)

In a measuring cup whisk the buttermilk (you can also just use "normal "milk) with the red food coloring. With the mixer on low speed, alternately add the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture, in three additions, beginning and ending with the flour.
The photo bellow shows what the three mixtures look like. But we already put some of the red into our buttermixture.

In a small cup combine the vinegar and baking soda. Allow the mixture to fizz and then quickly fold into the cake batter.

This is just a pretty picture with lots of HEARTS!

And this is what our batter looks like in our heart moulds. Wonderfull
We wouldn't recommend filling the baking dish to the rim as you want your muffins to be puffy and well...they will rise and need there space to do so.

Our hearts baked for around 25-30 minutes. But it usually depends on your oven so try sticking a toothpick in to see if any batter sticks to it. If it clean take 'em out!! they're ready peeps!

So for our frosting: We chose to keep it light and easy so it complements the chocolaty muffins well.
We just mixed cream cheese, with cream, vanilla and a tad of powdered sugar.

Our finished hearts!! we forgot to take a photo of the muffins without our icing but this is what ours looked like just minutes before our guys got to them.

And these are the ingredients you'll need. We find it easier to bake with cups because you can just pick random cups and go with that, depending on how much batter you want to make. Just as long as you always use the same cup for all the different contents.  We found the recipe on We love the site!!

Red Velvet Hearts:

2 1/2 cups (250 grams) sifted cake flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons (15 grams) regular or Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1/2 cup (115 grams) unsalted butter at room temperature
1 1/2 (300 grams) granulated white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk
2 tablespoons liquid red food coloring
1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
1 teaspoon baking soda
