Thrift Store Shopping!

Thrift Store Shopping!

Home from Barcelona and soo sad that it's over!! The city is just too beautiful! And it was warm and sunny! PERFECT!
I needed cheering up and what's better than a trip to my favourite thrift store in Landshut.
So I did just that!
We came 15 minutes before closing time so I rushed through but I still managed to find a few things I liked.
I bought little cups for bosnian coffee (when my parents visit) and a pretty red wallet.
Got everything for 1€. I wanted to buy these shoes but couldn't decide on the size.

I liked the blue shoes more but they were a bit too small and the green ones felt too big so I didn't get them.

Ohhh and Matthias brought me my dream boots from NY!! I now own red cowboy boots!! I'm so excited!
I've been walking around the house in my lovely new boots for the past 3 days...they just make me so terribly happy!

MUNICH COFFEE MUNICH
After all that stressful university stuff it's time for a break.
Sleeping late, eating a lot and going out for some coffee or to go shopping.
Anything but work or studying.

Cupcakes!

Hey guys! So yes, we kind of disappeared, but Andrea and Steffi already explained how it's been. It sure has been crazy to me too. I've been studying, been sick as a dog, looking for an apartment and working. Lot's and lot's of things going on!
So now i'm going to share where i've been spending a lot of time: At my new job!

Yes! I make cupcakes. Those delicious and cute little things are a part of my working life.

So this is where the magic is made.
I start of with baking and when they are cooled of I start decorating! This is the BEST part! I get to make them all pretty and be as creative as I want to be.

I'm sorry... the picture is kind of blurry, but you can still tell that it's a wonderful cupcake.

Good, huh?!

Of course we need lots of sprinkles!

So and this guy is my favorite! It's filled with cookie dough. That just sounds fantastic and believe me, it's a party in your mouth!!

I also want to apologize for those pictures. The quality is horrible. I need to start taking my camera along with me... my phone camera is just not the same!

While i'm sharing exciting things: Next month i'll be in backpacking around Peru! I'll meet my friend in Lima and then we're off traveling around. I can't wait to leave this silly, snowy and cold weather behind and sweat my bootie off in nice hot Peru.
Of course I'll be sharing my adventures, but until then I have A LOT of things to do. Send some positive vibes to the landlords of those fantastic apartments we've been looking at. It's really about time we finally get an answer and sign the contract!
Lots of love to you!

VEGGIE BURGER

Veggie Burger

Since i live in this gorgeous flat in Munich with Lisa,
there are always some friends coming over to cook and drink wine.
The other day we made these burgers and i showed the girls,
that it even could taste better than with meat. (my mission!)

You need:

For the burger:  oat flakes, carrots, onions, 1 egg, salt, pepper, parsley, vegetable stock, water

To fill your burger: Tomatoes, onions, gherkins, salad

dip: sour cream: yogurt, herbage, mayonnaise, lemon

Potatoes, bread and cheese

Start with cooking the potatoes about 10 minutes. Then cut them into wedges,
put them on a baking sheet and disperse them with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Heat the oven.

Bring about 100ml water to the boil. put some vegetable stock inside.
now mix it up with 400g oat flakes. Everything in bowl, right afterwards.
Then put in 2 carrots and 1 onion (minced), 1 egg and flavor it with salt pepper
and some parsley. Form the burger and put them in a heated pan.

Cut the tomatoes, onions and gherkins.

For the dip, mix up a little cup yogurt, some mayonnaise,
a bit lemon and some herbage.

Here i made a dip with tomato sauce as well. Just be creative!

Now put the potato wedges in the oven until they look crunchy!

Roast the burger from broth sides about 5 minutes.
you can put them to the potatoes afterwards if you want to
so they are finished at the same time.

Finally cut the bread in two peaces and put it with some cheese on in the oven for 2 minutes.

Then everything out! Burger on the bread and everybody can create his/her own burger!

ENJOY!

INSPIRATION!!!

THE INSPIRATION

The other day I decided to check out some of my favourite blogs instead of learning. And boy was that a bad idea!
Obviously the best time to get inspired is not during exam preparations. And I stumbled upon this dress which I thought was kind of cool.
So I decided to try something similar. I had bought some jersey a couple of months ago and felt this was the perfect opportunity to use it.
I do admit that it was kind of tricky...because jersey is obviously pretty stretchy but it turned out great!
I will probably change it up a bit but for now I'm quite happy with it!
And this is obviously another one of my grand cell phone pics...I usually use my boyfriends camera but he's in New York now...
with the camera.

JANUARY

The three of us have been awfully bad blogger these past few weeks!
Sorry for that! This is basically what my january consisted of.
Lots of learning in the library and lots of being clumsy and losing things/getting things stolen from me!
It was officially the worst month ever

January was all about changes for all of us. Break-ups, roommates moving out and new ones moving in,
exams, losing my phone, someone snatching my laptop away from me infront of uni and some other stuff.
It was fucked up. I had to resist the urge to just stop everything and lay in the snow waiting for everything to just go by.
Just one of those times when everything seems to be going wrong...it's never just one bad thing that happens...
bad things usually come in a wave all at once. It's actually kind of fascinating!

I was almost afraid to step out of the house in fear of getting hit by a bus or something...
that would've been the next logical step.
The funny thing is that...at some point you just have to laugh it all off.
Life gets so overwhelming that you just have to take a step back and laugh. That's how i've been coping.

I am really clumsy by nature. Everything slips straight out of my hands and I fall over basically everything in front of me...
or next to me...or just remotely somewhere around me.
I had to learn to live with that early on when I broke my jaw at age three... just walking to gym class in kindergarden.
Fun times.

Anyway enough of the whining and complaining. It's all looking much better now.
Most of the exam results are back and looking alright (still waiting for biology..let's hope that one went well),
Steffi got a new laptop and I bought her old one (exactly like my baby rosie..I name everything)
and I'm off to Barcelona on the 10th so I'm pretty excited about that.
My little cousin is turning 7 so I'll be there to celebrate with her!
Here are some pictures of how exactly ever day of the past month looked like!
Plus minus the scarf turban

This was Sophia right before her last exam ever!!
My girl rocked it and has now left our wonderfully cosy flat in Vienna and moved to Iceland. It was so sad!!
luckily we have cyberspace! Oh and we are trying to be pen pals...
sending and receiving letters can be so fun. Well we haven't really started yet.
Sophia hasn't been able to get to a post office living in the icelandic outback and everything.

This is just a highly interesting chapter about the central nervous system (NOT)
and of course chocolate (always a good idea).

This was also what we did on our little learning break!
This bald guy behind me probably thought we were making fun of him with our bald pics but thats not true!!
Look how great she looks with a bald head. Soo pretty!

So that's it for today! Sorry for the really long text!!
I am trying to get all my planned blog post stuff back on my computer...
All my inspiration folders are gone and all my photos and everything so it's all a bit tricky.
So good that I now have my hamster case smart phone...because it is in fact pretty smart and I'm still fascinated!
I'm off to pick up Steffi from the train station here in Moosburg! That silly girl thought it was a good idea to go to Vienna
(which she shouldn't have done anyway) especially while I was on the train to Moosburg.

Tüdeldü!
