We baked it ourselves with LOVE

 As you may or may not have noticed ... this weeks baking with LOVE is a bit different. Die drei roten rosen sind vereinigt!! Hani visited us in Vienna well me..and Steffi visited us in Vienna as we baked salty Muffins. 
We made goat cheese and spring onion muffins and also italien pesto muffins! They were so tasty!
Since we didn't make photos of the ingredients for you. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

So now...go preheat the oven!! DO IT!

 Our wonderfully fantastic tasty muffins in the oven!

goat cheese and spring onion muffins      &      Italien pesto-muffins

Use these ingredients to make enough dough for 12 muffins :

                                                                                                              6 tbsp sunflower oil or 90g butter                
                                                                                                              280g  flour                                                      
                                                                                                              3 teaspoonful baking soda                            
                                                                                                              pinch of salt and pepper                                                 
                                                                                                              2 Eggs

                                                                                                              250ml buttermilk

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and put aside. Now whisk the eggs, buttermilk and oil together. Add the the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir to everything together. This is the base of your muffins. NOW separate the dough into two equally big pieces!

For the: goat cheese muffins:  add a bunch of spring onions - in thin rings
                                               150g goat cheese in small cubes the mixture and et voila! pour into your muffin mould.
 For the: Italien pesto-muffin: add 6 tbsp pesto (we used red pesto)
                                                 and freshly grated Parmesan your mixture and et voila! you're pesto-muffins are ready to be poured into the moulds. 

 This recipe serves 12 muffins as it is here. If you only want to bake one kind of muffin just double the special ingredients required for the muffin of choice. We loved them!! And they go really well together!
