We Baked It Ourselves With LOVE! Birthday cake!

 Hey guys,

this post is actually a bit late. Because as you all know, Andrea's Birthday was last week.
But this is about her nice birthday cake now
and how you can make a simple, very pretty birthday gift for your best friend.

This recipe is called:
ANDREAS RASPBERRY-BLUEBERRY-BUNDT CAKE
you need:
a bundt cake baking-tin (22-24 cm inside diameter)
250g raspberry and blueberry mixed
350g butter
lemon zest from 2 lemons
300g sugar
6 eggs
200g grated almond
480g flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

for decoration:
dark chocolate glaze
white chocolate
raspberry candies

First of all, let me introduce Sophie!
This little girl down here is Paul's niece.
Paul and I were together with Pauls parents and Sophies family in Kitzbühel for christmas.
So she helped me bake Andrea's cake, and she did it very well!

So when you put together all your ingredients let's start with greasing the baking-tin.
put some flour inside so that the cake comes out easily when it's finished.
heat the oven to 180°C.

Put the berrys in a bowl and strew about 2 spoons flour over them.

Now mix up butter, lemon zest, sugar and eggs.
Then stir in almond, flour and baking powder.

No worries, the dough is very thick. but that's how it should be.

When you are finished with that,
take your baking-tin and put alternately some dough, berrys, dough, berrys inside.
end with dough.

Sophie did that very great.
she made sure that every level was totally covered with berrys.

This takes some time but the cake looks so pretty afterwards!

Sophie had the idea to cut the very big raspberrys,
because otherwise we have these big ones inside and it doesn't look equal when it's finished!
she was so patient!

Now put your filled baking-tin, for about 50 minutes, in the oven.
check every now and then if it's done yet.

Let your cake cool down and cut the ground so that it's straight.
melt the dark chocolate and put it over the cake.

then the white chocolate, you see the litte white dot's down there?!
I took a plastic bag, cut a little hole in one corner and put the melted white choc inside.

i found these great raspberry candies covered with white chocolate.
when you cut them they look like little roses.
Then i took the plastic bag again and wrote "Andrea" on the cake.
FINISHED <3

LOVE
